Heavy rains continued to lash the financial capital (Mumbai) for the 3rd day on Wednesday, 30th September. But, there was no water logging & road & train traffic was not disturbed. Flights were postponed by little minutes due to reduced visibility at the airfield.

Several low- lying locality in the Mumbai city & border were water-logged behind all night heavy rains, causing waiting for office-goers, & college & school students.[smartads]

Rainfall evidenced in the previous Twenty Two hours since 8.30 am Tue. was 240.1 mm, according to the weather office in Mumbai.

Heavy during the night rains started a avalanche close to a slum area in housing Jogeshwari, police told. No victim was reported in the event at Saripur Nagar (Mumbai) on Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, they told, counting actions were on to clear the remains.
