Simple Kapadia

Costume designer & actress Simple Kapadia was the younger sister of the actress Dimple Kapadia. On Tuesday afternoon, Simple Kapadia died. She was of 50 years. She was suffering from cancer for 3 years. Dimple Kapadia was looking after her sister for last three years her sister at her home.

Simple Kapadia was born on 15 Aug. 1958. She started her career with the film Anurodh with Rajesh Khanna in 1976. The film was not successful but she continued to do acting in more than 20 films like Pyaar Ke Do Pal, Shaaka, Lootmaar, Jeevan Dhara and others. In 1986, she had quit from acting.

After 10 years, Simple Kapadia came back to Bollywood and worked as a dress designer. She designed dresses for Dimple Kapadia & Sunny Deol. She won the National Award for her designs of costumes in the movie “Rudaali”.
