NEW DELHI: India’s 3rd largest technology company’s CMO Jessie Paul quit to start her own business. Her venture Paul Writer Strategic Advisory would be a marketing base for B2B early stage companies in social blogging. She will consult the companies on marketing strategies, for their growth.
When Suresh Vaswani CEO Wipro Technologies, was asked about this matter, he told: “Wipro’s policy doesn’t allows commenting on the matter of management exits.”
In her 4.5 years at Wipro, she globalized the company’s marketing team. About 10% of it is now non- Indian. She also made the shared-marketing unit for Wipro Infotech& Wipro Technologies, besides this she devised the strategies to build up Wipro brand.
Ms Paul recently wrote a book ‘No Money Marketing’ said: “Through book writing I got to know I could do so many other things. It took me to marketing for early stage companies, this work& Wipro CMO work can’t be undertaken simultaneously.” For her new venture she plans to link with an international firm& also want to involve only 130 LinkedIn members out of 300 in her list.”
