Volkswagen Beetle

Volkswagen Veetle in India is probably will launch by December 2009.
Volkswagen is already selling Passat, Touareg and Jetta in Indian
market. Volkswagen will be bringing the fresh Beetle before the 2009
end. The news came from the reports that were uncovered at the time of
India economic summit. [smartads]

Though Volkswagen Beetle was in starting referred as people’s car but
this can not be referred with same name now with the price tag of
whopping around 9 and half Lacs that is obviously cannot be afforded
by a medium income segment in India. While Tata Nano is coming around
1 and half Lacs, the Volkswagen Beetle is nowhere near to common man’s
car.

There are also reports that Volkswagen can also launch POLO that can
hit Indian markets by starting of 2010. The price band will be lower
then Beetle.
