A village commoner named Ramandeep Kaur (who lives in Faridkot which is in
Punjab) didn’t have any connections with Aamir Khan till he landed up at Ramandeep’s village on the evening of her marriage. He attended the wedding disguised as abroad’s documentary film maker.

The bride & her kin of Churchak village close to Jagraon can’t imagine in their amazing dreams that the disguised film maker was Bollywood’s superstar Aamir. Even last week Aamir had visited Saurav Ganguly’s home, disguised as Ganguly’s fan. [smartads]

Here, this time Aamir was disguised as hippie kind of foreign man who visited for documentary filmmaking in India. He attended Ramandeep’s on-going pre-wedding celebrations at her village which is near Jagraon town, only 250 km away from Chandigarh. Nobody got to know that he is Aamir, until they were told about his reality, this lead to joy & excitement in the locality.

Even though Aamir wasn’t well from past few days, but still he attended the wedding for about 2 hours. This visit is kind of promotion plan for his upcoming movie 3 Idiots. A Village- commoner told that some people came to us & asked us that they want to capture rural wedding, but later on we came to know it was Aamir actually who came here to visit us.

Aamir not just sang or danced with all at the wedding but he also ate food with them. He even gifted a ring, to the bride after her Mehendi ceremony just the way he gifted a ring to Ganguly. He might now have left to visit some other place in disguised manner to astonish people. But before leaving to Mumbai, he invited the new couple to visit Mumbai to come to see his movie 3 Idiots premiere. He actually gifted them this invitation as their wedding gift.
