This year’s Christmas morning, if 1 manage to wake up at 4am, & want to watch out 3 Idiots movie at multiplexes, the movie is screening at 6am. For endearing audience Aamir & party had decided to provide biscuits & chai for free. Looks like Chai-time Manoranjan.
When we take a look at most movies which came in 2009, only except 2 movies Wanted & Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, all other movies didn’t gave good business, as they didn’t proved successful at box-office. 3 Idiots releases on Friday & every1 has got optimistic expectations from the movie. [smartads]
Devang Sampat, who is Senior Vice President of Cinemax India Limited told, “There is a lot scope for 6 am show. As many people do morning walk & even call centre people can flock the theaters at that time. But actually thins is being done for the 1st time, its just because there is good demand for tickets for 3 Idiots. We just hope & feel that people will come to watch early shows too. He told that multiplexes even plan to extend their screening time till midnight shows too. Obviously, theaters will pay added incentives to their employees for this. Even we told our staff to work in shifts. Truthfully noon is complaining.
Aditya Shroff, Assistant to Vice President of Programming & Corporate Sales of Fame India Limited, is equipped to dash 3Idiots on as many screens as possible.
Fame India had earlier determined to have their 1st show at 6.30 am. But now sources told, “They may well push screening up to 6 am.”
Fun Republic will not screen the movie at very early time. Vishal & Fun Republic’s Vice President of Marketing told, “We will screen at 9am. Fame & Cinemax have got more screens. They can program the movie scheduling flexibly.”
Imax. Inox will screen morning shows. Even PVR too, their morning show will screen at 8.30am.
Whose brilliant is this, to screen the movie at morning? Is this Aamir who is 3Idiots marketing man? Aditya Shroff reacted, “I got this idea for my chain of cinemas. I feel it can work.” Devang Sampat express amusement, “We also have a thoughtful mind.”
