India vs Sri Lanka Live update: Yuvi and Dhoni moving India ahead

At Dhaka, Sri Lankans’ Welegedara has taken 3 Indian wickets in the 2nd ODI of Tri-Nation Tournament.

Welegedara has taken 3 batsmen wickets: Gambhir at 8 runs, Virat at 9 overs & Sehwag too. Team India score was 76, 3 wickets after 10 overs. [smartads]

After Gambhir & Virat’s wickets, Virender helped Indian team by giving 47 runs from 31 balls, he gave 9 – 4s. India got into trouble, when in 9th over, Sehwag was caught by Thirimanne at Welegedara’s balling.

Gambir got out in 3rd over, when Welegedara bowled him. After few overs, Virat was caught up by Sangakkara

At the beginning, during toss, Sri Lankan captain Sangakkara won the toss & SL decided to bowl 1st.

Sri Lanka got a big blow just before match begins, Dilshan succumbed to groin injury. Thirimanne will do opening innings in Dilshan’s place, whereas Perera will do replacement for injured Silva.

Indian team decided that Gambhir will be opening batsman as Tendulkar chose to miss the tournament. Now, Sreesanth is back! Last month, he missed ODI series against SL as he was succumbed to swine flu.
