The Rupee value is raised by 14 paise to 46.24 dollar in the opening trade.

Indian rupee is valued by 12 paise to 46.24 a dollar, in Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market.

Yesterday the value of rupee was closed at 24 paise at 46.36 dollar, which was considered as a three-week low. [smartads]

Dealers added that the value of Indian rupee rose against dollar, with rolling stock markets.

Today the standard Sensex gained by 203.21 points, or 1.24 %, to 16,493.03 points in early trade.
