2010 proved to be unlucky for Sania Mirza, as on one hand she not played well in her game & on other her engagement was called off.

Her engagement was broken by her father Imran, who gives coaching to her & supervises her career. She was engaged by Mohd. Sohrab Mirza, who belongs to Hyderabad & was her old friend. At present he is studying business in UK.

Sania said that Sohrab was her close friend, but after the engagement we both find mismatched for each other, hence it was decided to called of the engagement.

The questions started to rise prior to their engagement about, weather Mohammed could able to manage with an extremely popular, advanced & such athlete girl or not. Hence even after the engagement the discussion was not stopped & ultimately it ended on the breaking of their engagement.

At present she is spending time with her family & friends, after her broken engagement.

Currently she is focusing on her career & is in Kaula Lumpur to play for Fed Cup Asia Oceania Group II, which is starting from 2nd Feb.
