Honors are still coming Vidya’s ways, for her maa’s role in movie Paa & she has not got over that success’ effect. “I’m relaxing in that mode”, says Vidya. “It’s really good to see when someone’s work is spoken all around; I recall that I was initially skeptical about my role in Paa but later on I finally took the role with confidence.”

Miss Balan is now perfectly set to entice 2 men —Naseeruddin Shah & Arshad Warsi — in her upcoming film, Ishqiya.

All around there is talks & chats about Vidya’s character Krishna in Ishqiya. Krishan is having negative touch in her role. “Na na Krishna is not a negative character. We all easily label any character like- if somebody plays mother’s role, then they are glorified & if somebody plays vaguely sexual role then that character is remarked as negative. So in Ishqiya, the character role of Krishna is like any of us, be it me, you, any1,” says Vidya Balan. [smartads]

Ishqiya movie is based on theme of love & lust. She added, “Love prevails in our lives & sex is integral part of love. Lust has got many emotions; these too are part of love.”

Sources revealed that Arshad Warsi was slight hesitant regarding having kissing scene with Vidya in Ishqiya. Arshad was this much uncomfortable that Ishqiya’s director Abhishek Chaubey then left both the actors alone at the sets & kept his camera on to let them get comfortable. When asked by Vidya, does all these were true. She clarifies, “All rubbish. Initially we both were feeling very awkward & were very nervous. But later on, as we get along well, I don’t think that finally Arshad Warsi would be having any difficulty.”

Though Vidya is now famous for crossing borders for roles in the movies, she is now again back to her sari get up. Vidya answered, “Oh yes, I am now back to my old ways, I would be seen in saris in Ishqiya. Indian beauties are built up in such kind of way that Indian women look so much sexy & sensuous in saris.”

On career front, it seems that Vidya is finding out work of her choice. Vidya will soon start shooting for her 1 more film named No One Killed Jessica. In queue, there are 2 more movies in her kitty, 1 is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Chenab Gandhi” & other 1 is a movie by by Gulzar, who’s returning back to direction after his movie Hu Tu Tu. “I hope that this kind of way goes on & I get good films,” says Vidya.

Hey Vidya actually wanted to do Malayalam film too, but her wish has not been fulfilled as yet. She added, “I’d signed a Malayalam film. But there are dates problem so I couldn’t take up projects. I simply want to do Malayalam film as I want to fulfill my parent’s desire.”
