Ram Gopal Verma is coming with his new movie “RANN”, which is going to be release on 29th January, 2010.
The movie is based on the political theme & shows how the media & news channels come up with sensationalize stories to get the popularity.
RANN also discloses the fact, that how the media give way to inducement & publish those news which raises the level of their popularity.

The movie highlights the serious issue, viewers could feel the sense of RGV’s “Sarkar” while watching this film. Although both the films are on different notes, still they both throw the light on the world, which we had observed from outer surface.

Those people who have interest in watching serious movies, will defiantly find this film a complete hit, but those who seek for the spicy stuff, will not find RANN an interesting drama.
The storyline revolves around Vijay Harshvardhan Malik (Amitabh Bachchan) who runs a news channel name 24/7. Vijay put his best efforts to bring his news channel on top. His son Jay (Sudeep) considers the news channel as a complete business enterprise & only aims to make profit in any possible way. He jealous with the achievements of his competitor [Mohnish Bahl] who earns good profit, as compare to him.

The twist come in the film when a crooked politician Mohan Pandey (Paresh Rawal) uses the news channel by being in touch of Vijay’s son-in-law Navin [Rajat Kapoor] for his own benefit. Pandey plays all these strategies to get the chair of Prime Minister, & hence get involoved in many ferocious operations against his political rivals.

Navin is the person who could get to any limits in a greed of becoming the most successful industrialist of the country, hence he indulge Jay, in the game plan of Pandey.
Usually RGV’s movies are embroidered with capable actor who plays their roles in the best possible manner.

The script of the movie is highly convincing & persuasive. The political issue raised in the film is presented in the most simplest manner.
In the film the cinematography is done by Amit Roy.

Amitabh Bachchan has given his stunning performance here. He had delivered the speech in the film in an outstanding manner.
Overall, RANN is an outsatanding movie, which will surely impress the audience. The storyline of the film is based on a serious issue & will defiantly catch viewer’s attention.
