Shiv Sena asked SRK to apologize for his words which he used to include Pakistani players in his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.
Shah Rukh said that he loved to invite Pak players in his team even if a single slot was left. Such views of the actor were the reason for Shiv Sena’s anger.
Shiv Sena’s activists protested against the actor, & even warned the theater owners to release any of his coming movie (My Name Is Khan), if he did not apologized for his mistake. [smartads]
SRK made it cleared once that Pakistani players are the heroes of T20 & they should not be excluded from IPL. Although no player was chosen by the IPL Franchisee owners, yet the actor made the remark that he was keen to buy Abdul Razzak for his team.
The posters of his coming release “My Name is Khan” were also torn by the Sainiks, who were frustrated with SRK’s remark over Pakistani players.
SRK was also thrashed by Sainiks, for including Australian players in the team, but the actor closed the matter by saying that it’s just the business deal, & hence he bought Aussies. Sena was also against to take Australians in IPL, because of there attacks on India.
