People of Jammu and Kashmir are facing intense snowfall in high altitude regions and rainfall in plains. This condition is continued from the last 4 days.

Since Friday the condition is very bad in J &K as 3 to 5 feet thick layers of snow has made in these areas. In these areas and Srinagar the plains have irregular snow and rains.

The surprising hot temp in the month of Jan was very worrying for the farmers but this snowfall is giving smiles to the faces of farmers & growers of fruit. But it would have been risky for the apple industry.
