In 8th Feb 2010, in Chandigarh a young man (Utsav Sharma) stabbed to SPS Rathore-previous Police Chief of Haryana. The incident was taken place outside a sessions court in Sec-17, district court complex, Chandigarh.

SPS Rathore was stabbed several times on his face on his right cheek by Utsav Sharma when he was coming out from the court and going towards his car when a young man.

Some Police men and lawyers pushed to Utsav Sharma and controlled him. Rathore is out of danger now. Police has arrest the attacker and is being questioned by Police officers.
