Today, actress Priety Zinta said that it was a rumor that Kings XI Punjab was sold to Hero Honda team.

The players of Kings XI Punjab said that it was the fake news that IPL team was bought by Hero Honda group. Top officials of Hero Honda also said that IPL team was not sold to them.

The analysis was confirmed by franchisee of Kings XI Preity Zinta. She mentioned on her twitter that her team was not sold to Hero Honda.  [smartads]

On Wednesday Priety wrote on her twitter page “Hi every one! Just want to clarify that we have NOT SOLD the team to HERO HONDA! Another example of how the media can get it all wrong!”

The co-owner Mohit Burman made it clear that he & other co owner of Kings XI Punjab have no intension to sell there team.

There are rumors that Hero Honda had bought the team in 260 million dollars, but the owner & co-owner of Kings XI Punjab said that they had not sold there team.
