Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos found it strange that people would want to see the death footage by searching for ‘killer whale kills trainer 2010’  but the reality is that it is one of the most searched content on the net. He warned that these pages came on the very first search results and were designed to issue fake warnings, extracting your credit card details or persuading you to download harmful software.

These fake scare wares and anti-virus attacks are one of the most common weapons in the arsenal of the cybercriminals, warned Sophos. Similar tactics have been used upon the death of other major celebrities like Natasha Richardson and Patrick Swayze.

Cluely advised the web visitors to get their news from trusted news sites rather than any untrustworthy website on the net. Most them, he warned are cybercriminals which were ready to exploit the unaware by using the ‘killer whale kills trainer footage’.
