International Women’s Day which is celebrated almost in all the countries has been observed since in the early 1900′s, a time of great development and turmoil in the modern world that saw flourishing population growth and the rise of deep-seated ideologies.

International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on 8th March every year. This women’s day is a major day for celebrating the achievements and assistance of the women from all over the world at inexpensive, supporting and common level. Last year on 8th March, women’s day, we heard some special actions in Ghana, Bangladesh, Romania, Pakistan, and Nepal, in CWE. [smartads]
As concerned to the history of the women they were very sick to homes and rarely go out from the homes. They were being ill-treated by the men and the society persons. Even they were not allowed to get education of studies, sports activities. They were only taught how to do the household work. They are married in the early ages of their life. In ancient times there were many customs related to the sati-pratha, bal-vivah etc. which forced them to cry. But gradually, the condition improved and women were allowed to get education and allowed to participate in different kind of activities. In the present era now situation becomes totally changed. In the modern era, almost all women are self dependent but there exists exception also.
As far as International Women’s Day is concerned, for the women to look past events and take lessons from them most importantly from the one which increase the women’s potential and self confidence that also guide for the upcoming generation of women. So the best idea for the celebration of International Women’s Day is to encourage the women in every field whether it is related to science, mathematical, economy, political etc. and also pays attention on the women who are residing in the backward areas. With the celebration of the International Women’s Day 2010, there exists also a need to inspire the village women to contact outer world to become successful. Even till now the women are ill-treated by the men. So they need an appropriate communication level to prove themselves. Thousands of events will be held on the International Women’s Day 2010 through out the world to motivate the women’s contribution ceremony. A lot of the organizations are ready to enjoy this day. A worldwide network is established and lots of activities are now ready to perform on 8th March. Women who are participating or who will become the viewers are very happy on coming of this day at different functions at various places. all around the world ranging from political rallies, business conferences, and government tricks and networking proceedings through to local women’s craft markets, theatric performances, fashion parades and more. Cultural functions will be organized in which poems, events; incidents related to the women will be said. Many global corporations have also started to more actively support IWD by running their own internal events and through supporting external ones. Year on year IWD is certainly increasing in status. The United States even designates the whole month of March as ‘Women’s History Month’.
