Yesterday night famous businessman, G P Birla, died due to his sickness. He is the IInd most eldest member, 86 years old, of the Birla group.

Late B M Birla was his father who founded the GP-CK Birla group. B M Birla has interests in automobiles, earth moving, power transmission tools, cement and Information Technology.
Medical research centers and hospitals are also set up by Birla group besides educational institutions.
G P Birla dead and left all responsibilities of businesses on his only son CK Birla.
Some famous companies like Hindustan Motor, Birla Technical Services and Orient Industries come under this group’s fold.
