Another Toyota Prius problem came into focus when a runaway Prius had to be controlled by the California Highway Patrol Officer and brought down to a halt on the San Diego County freeway. The Prius driver had to call 911 after finding that he could not properly control his car.
The Toyota Prius was brought to a halt after a Patrol Car came along its side and the driver was instructed to apply the emergency brake. Though first the Toyota Prius was guided up a steep upgrade.
The Toyota officials told that they had already sent a team of technical specialists to look into the issue. Toyota had to recently recall around 8.5 million vehicles the world over with more than 6 million from the US due to acceleration problems and the braking issues in its Prius models.
