Sashi Tharoor Arrived in Parliament to Meet Pranab Mukherjee

The minister of external affair Shashi Tharoor entered  at Parliament on Thursday a slight minute before House unlock after break, and ran in to get together with senior Congress head Pranab Mukherjee.

It assures to be a hard day in front for the Junior Minister. As per Sources Tharoor has been enquired to make clear his place in Parliament on his contentious connection to the Kochi Indian Premier League (IPL) Team. Congress basis say that the party will not take any action in opposition to Tharoor for now, but he has been enquired to protect himself when the opponent takes him on in Parliament.

The Left has put a question that Tharoor step down till his name is clean. The BJP has insisted that he be dismissed.

The PM has said that he will inspect all the evidence upon his arrival to India after a journey to the US and Brazil. All action, if necessary, will be taken after invetigation, said Dr Manmohan Singh. [smartads]

In a special meeting to NDTV on Wednesday night, Tharoor said there was no enquiry of him walk out. Tharoor rejected that his party has not gone him out in the cold, and also added that “walk out would mean that I’ve given up.”

Tharoor is at the middle of a argument over the IPL team that was sold to Kochi previous month for Rs 1,530 crores. A close member of Tharoor’s, Sunanda Pushkar, was gifted equity purportedly value 70 crores by the team-owners. This was exposed by Lalit Modi, IPL Commissioner, in his tweets on Monday.

Modi has also supposed that the possession of the Kochi Team is uncertain, and that the group, in support with Tharoor, tried to avoid him from find out the stakeholders.

Tharoor declared to NDTV that Pushkar was being mistreated by the media for “being a gorgeous woman.” He said this create it tough for the media to believe her as a victorious specialized in her own right. Accepting that he is “enormously near” to Pushkar, the minister held she has been given “sweat equity” which she will have to make over the subsequently some years.
