Demand in Rajya Sabha to Decrease Petrol Rates

Declining in the duties of petroleum items dominated the list of demands made by opponent during the conversation on the Finance Bill in the Rajya Sabha today on Tuesday.

Commencing the conversation in the Rajya Sabha, Prakash Javadekar of BJP admired FM Pranab Mukherjee and gave compliment him for the concessions declared but said that he should also consider decrease in rates of petrol and diesel.

“You have accepted so many demands. Accept one more demand and reduce the prices of petrol and diesel,” Prakash Javadekar said.

Prakash Javadekar said 100% tax on items was”loot” and asked how the government can consider one area mainly when these were no longer comfort.

He demanded execution of plan of one-rank one-pension system and action in the 2G trick which amounted to 70,000 crore.
