Antardwand by director Sushil Rajpal is one such film in the list of those that tackle sensitive issue like Dowry that will leave you with goose bumps about the criticality of the entire issue. Nowadays features on groom kidnapping are really common especially in the eastern segments of our country where a boy is abducted at gun point and is forced to marry a girl without his say. Well this is what the movie is all about.

A boy named Raghuveer enacted by actor Raj Singh Chaudhary has just taken a round with his civil service exams and has been abandoned by his father for falling in love and wanting to marry a girl of his choice but the situation takes an all new turn when Raghuveer is about to terminate his visit from his home place that is an interior in the state of Bihar for Delhi. While he is all set to leave he is suddenly kidnapped by a girl’s ambitious father who is more than willing to have a prospective son-in-law with an IAS degree.

The boy is married at gun point and is consequently locked in a room for several days to consummate his marriage with the girl. But the question is that does Raghuveer accept his fate and consummate his marriage or he makes an effort to fight back over the atrocity done to him. Sushil Rajpal has really made an absolutely unparalleled mark as a story teller giving the audience something that they can look forward to.
