So now the satellite city is no more away from the heart of Delhi, Connaught place as the Delhi metro officials have achieved yet another milestone by connecting the two places where daily commuting would just take place barely in 50 minutes after the opening of the metro line connecting Central Secretariat to the legendary Qutub Minar this Friday. Now gurgaon is not far away for the Delhities who might have different work schedules there.

The advent of metro has totally changed the lives of the people of Delhi and connected their lives in a much better way in less duration. This latest stretch which spreads on 12.53 km track enables metro comforts for the people of South Delhi for the very first time and this is after a long gap since the introduction of metro facilities in Delhi. The posh localities of Delhi have till now not received the bliss of metro travelling on a regular basis but now this will no more remain a dream when the flag for this new track is unleashed by S Jaipal Reddy who is the Urban Development Minister in the presence of Delhi CM the very gracious Sheila Dikshit. The first train for this new track was inaugurated from the Udyog Bhawan station in the presence of all the elites of the city.

After this integration between Central Secretariat- Jehangirpuri and the HUDA City Centre- Central Secretariat track corridor would the longest ever designed and brought to reality by the delhi metro officials. Metro route map
