Anna University in Trichy (Tiruchchirappalli) had announced result of 4th semester. Anna University Trichy has been established as a Technical University by the Government of Tamilnadu.The Results of TANCET 2009 conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Govt of Tamil Nadu on May 30 and 31 2009 has been declared.

Anna University was established in 2007, it was primarily an engineering university.But now various degree programmes in Tamil Nadu are offered at University Departments of Anna University Chennai, Anna University Coimbatore, Anna University Trichy, Anna University, Tirunelveli, Govt. Engineering,Arts and Science Colleges, Govt. Aided Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges, and Govt. Quota seats in self-financing Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges / standalone Institutions.
