Among the few significant events that will surface in this week, the basic ones include a bank employee nation wide strike, a nation wide closure, a rally by Rahul Gandhi and also the celebration of Eid. The strike arranged for the 7th of September will have bank employees from the public sector banks holding a strike against Government decision which is about supporting the inclusion of more private banks into the banking sector.
The demand of Bharat Band has been demanded by the Maoist groups with no clarity about the reason. As for the bank strike another reason would be disinvestment. Rahul Gandhi on the other hand is all set to march across Kolkata in the rally he has declared. The rally initiative comes under the party’s youth membership scheme. Interuniversity Center for Astronomy & Astrophysics professor Ranjan Gupta will deliver his lecture about the evolutionary aspects of telescopes and astronomy with the venue being the capitals International Center. A debate will also be put forward by the civil society on the subject “National Curriculum: Does One Size Fit All?”
Talking about the nation wide strike which will deal with issues that are aimed against government measures is going to be affiliated by the INTUC from the congress. All emergency services will be refrained and is going to be used as a weapon to raise an issue in front of the government dealing with the financial sector. Also this week the nation will celebrate the 150th birthday anniversary of the legendary Bengali poet and writer RabindraNath Tagore at the India Habitat center.
