Edhiran- The Robot, a mega money and mega starring movie with Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai as the lead actors has finally uncovered the release date that has been reported to fit into the month of September. The much talked about sci-fi movie is not just being desperately looked forward to by the audience but even other filmmakers who were vary about the particular d-day can now rest calm. The film will be released as a grand event in a multilingual format to cater to the south audience and is directed by S.Shankar.

It took 2 years in the filming and production of the movie while the music release event was marked recently with Rajinikanth being a part of it as a surprise element. It has also bagged the score for the most expensive film ever made in Asia and is also slated to hit the largest opening at a world wide level. While the Robo mania is taking over the entire nation, but the date of release was not yet fixed even though the music release was celebrated on the 31st of July this year.

Initially the news was that the film will be released by the 3rd of September but after that the date was postponed adhering to some post production work dealing with patch work at the last minute and also the re-recording dates for the super packed music legend AR Rehman. According to the buzz, the movie is high on internationally worked out larger than life special effects and to get all this finished in place is a big task in itself for the filmmakers.
