The most-awaited Salman Khan movie of this year, Dabangg, premiered with a private screening on Monday night. But that is not all…

The exclusive screening planned by Salman brought many hot-shots of the Hindi Film Industry together at the Bandra preview theatre. But there was one totally unexpected star who is also considered Salman’s chief rival present around.

Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan was present at Salman’s Dabangg screening even though for a few moments. Shah Rukh was not present as a guest of Salman, he was just passing around the premises of the preview theatre in his car along with his wife Gauri.

An eyewitness stated that the show concluded around 2 a.m. on late Monday night. All the guests were leaving and paparazzi were waiting outside to capture them in their frames when a photographer caught a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan with his wife Gauri in his convertible BMW.

Shah Rukh decelerated his car and it was only a matter of a short time when the photographers recognized him and started calling him out. But even before they could click him, he made a quick exit with his wife.

It may be possible that King Khan was on his way back home with his wife via Bandra that night. But his timing gives the impression of something more than a fluke because he happened to be around the venue where a private screening of Salman’s Dabangg was under course and that too at the exact time when the actors were due to leave the premises.

There were obviously no prizes for guessing Shah Rukh’ presence in the car. But his intention still remains unclear. Was it just an attempt to steal Salman’s share of publicity while appearing on the scene like this?

Many big names of Bollywood made it up to the screening including Aamir Khan with his wife Kiran Rao and son Junaid, family members of Salman, Shilpa Shetty with husband Raj Kundra, Karisma Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and several others. But it was the turning out of Khan that caught the fancy of everyone.
