Valentines Day is generally celebrated on fourteenth Feb of every year. It is celebrated in order to commemorate the lives of Christian martyrs, Saint Valentines etc. But so far it was not celebrated as a festival anywhere in the world. Valentines Day got popular in the time of Pope Gelasius I in 500 AD. But after that followers of Roman calendar deleted this day from Roman Calendar of Saints. Mainly Pope Paul VI was the one responsible behind this. Despite all this religious ceremony of this day is still allowed.</p>
