Not much later than 5 a.m., Gaithersburg got hit by Maryland – A 3.6 magnitude earthquake, according to the U.S. Geological survey. The area where Maryland earthquake struck the hardest is around 20 miles northwest of Washington.

Tsunami seismologists of India informed that Tsunami could soon hit India due to the 7.7 rectors earthquake inside the Indian Ocean. The earthquake was cited on Sunday morning and immediate warning was given to the nearby nations of India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Thailand.

Oceanic Viking saves 30 asylum seekers in north-west coast of Australia

More than 30 people were saved by a customs ship off Australia’s north-west coast.

The boat was carrying 35 passengers. The boat was taking the people from an asylum to Christmas Island for their health, identity and security checks.
