The Railway minister of India, Mamata Banerjee has promised to stand for the common audience as she uncovered her budget report which is annually presented on the 25th of February with an investment vow of Rupees 576.3 billion in this year.

The Railway budget to be laid out tomorrow

The Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee will be presenting the Rail budget 2011-2012 in Lok Sabha tomorrow.

The passenger fares are likely to be remained untouched and if this happens it will be for the eighth year in row.

Indian Railways Expends 1/3rd of its Revenue on Staff Wages

Indian Railways expends 1/3rd of every rupee that it gets on wages & allowances of staff. Most of its revenue came from moving goods. Indian Railways is the only largest employer in India.

Railway Budget 2010 Live: No Privatization & Social Responsibility Concerned

Today the rail budget of next fiscal year has been offered by Mamata Banerjee – the Railway minister. It is promised that it will present a new business model to promote private investment with social assurance but with no privatization.
