Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India, has declared to set JPC (Joint Parliament Committee) against 2G Spectrum Scam. JPC, Joint Parliament Committee, is one of the provisional parliamentary Committees formed by Indian Parliament. It has been authorized to scrutinize an unambiguous issue by the Indian government.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh finally holds a meeting with media to face the scam charges levied on the UPA-II.
Year 2010 has been called the year of scams, starting from the great money laundering in Commonwealth Games, then the Aadarsh Housing scam, maligning the reputation of army men and the biggest of ever scam, the illegal licensing of 2G Spectrum, which according to sources have been estimated around 1.76 lakh crore.
